The Ron Ganim Family Memorial Foundation is proud to expand its reach by awarding an annual scholarship to students across multiple school districts who embody the values Ron lived and taught. Each recipient will be a student who demonstrates unwavering personal integrity, a deep commitment to family, and perseverance in the face of adversity.
This award honors the legacy of Ron Ganim. He was coach, teacher, and mentor who believed in the strength of body, mind, and heart. His influence shaped generations of students at Brecksville-Broadview Heights and continues to inspire young people today.
Scholarship Criteria
Ron Ganim, a beloved teacher and coach, devoted his life to helping students grow not only in athletic skill but also in character. He believed in the power of education, the importance of health, and the courage to overcome life’s challenges.
The scholarship will be awarded annually to a student who exemplifies:
Resilience in the face of hardship
Perseverance through personal challenges
Dedication to family and community
Integrity in their daily life and choices
Application Process
The RGMF Scholarship program is a direct donation to students or local school's foundation/booster scholarship program. The process is determined with in each school district. Please find your local school's requirements to apply.
Expanded Support
In honor of Gym World’s longstanding partnership with area schools, the Foundation is extending its support beyond Brecksville-Broadview Heights to include students in every district whose gymnastics teams train at Gym World. Importantly, recipients are not required to be gymnasts—the award is open to any student who meets the values of the scholarship.
